Position Overview
Creates a fully integrated learning organization for the company by developing, aligning and
delivering organization development and training activities to meet business goals. Provides
internal consulting in training and organizational development to departments: facilitates
change management methodologies, and works with management to assess training and
development needs consistent with the organization's strategy and vision. Enhances individual and team performance by creating a climate of continuous learning in support of the
organization's strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
1. Direct and manage small/large-scale projects with competing priorities; partner with
leaders across the SVM enterprise for prioritization and implementation.
2. Lead succession planning strategy and implementation for all associate levels to create a
leadership pipeline and guide the viability of its shared potential across the SVM enterprise
through people development.
3. Strategically build and direct the execution of a SVM leadership development program,
management training and development that connect to the identification, definition, and
continuous update of clear leadership competencies; the means for evaluating these
competencies; the necessary processes to effectively develop these competencies
throughout the business.
4. Collaborate through strategic partnering and lead the execution of the SVM company-wide
performance management cycle utilizing internal systems and performance review
processes, training and internal consulting.
5. Partnering with HR and BU operational leaders, direct, manage, develop and measure
business unit specific talent development initiatives that align with BU goals for
performance improvement.
6. Drive and direct the appropriate and consistent execution of selection assessments across
targeted positions within SVM that align with BU and corporate needs; including – vendor
sourcing, validation processes, and implementation.
7. Direct the talent development daily operations, budget, and managing a staff of
professionals. Provide excellent customer service. Develop and manage high-performing
learning professionals.

Education and Experience Requirements
• BS/BA degree in related field and/or 7-10 years of related experience in talent and
organizational development
• MS/MA is preferred
• Generally 5+ years in management is required
