The Senior Field Service Engineer (FSR) will perform ATIRCM Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance Level technical support (Hot Mock Up and on Aircraft) in Afghanistan for an anticipated one year assignment as directed by the Program Office. Other ATIRCM Field Engineering travel may be required to support Rotary Wing or Fixed Wing Aircraft and ASE requirements at customer locations.
Candidate must be willing and able to successfully complete the CRC syllabus/qualifications (training/medical/dental) in support of CENTCOM Afghanistan travel requirements.
Field Engineer Position requires "extensive worldwide travel" in support of DoD and customer Rotary Wing and Fixed Wing Electronic Warfare (EW) platform(s). Successful candidate will be trained on ATIRCM EW systems in Nashua, NH. Additional Premiums apply for Field supported locations. The ATIRCM Afghanistan work week is contracted at 56 Hours per week.
Required Skills and Education Required Education: Associate's Degree
Active Secret Clearance required
Successful candidate must:
- Possess strong Organizational and or Intermediate EW, IR, RF electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and fault isolation abilities
- Perform engineering tasks associated with ASE, EW mission support requirements, systems integration, debugging, functional analysis of EW system interface and on-board systems communications utilizing VME/1553/BIT technology.
- Knowledge of aircraft EW Systems sweep utilizing Test Equipment is also required
- ATIRCM FSR must be able to read/understand aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics and Technical Publications
Preferred Skills and Education 1. IR EW Experience (CMWS Experience/knowledge is a plus)
2. BSEE or equivalent technical experience
3. CRC (US Army CONUS Replacement Center) Qualified for travel to CENTCOM Assignment
